Review on 💻 SAMSUNG T7 500GB Portable SSD - High-Speed USB 3.2 External Solid State Drive for Fast Data Transfer - Red Color (MU-PC500R/AM) by Rebecca Carter

I work with audio and some of these virtual instruments required a lot of space and a high reading speed. I have 4 Samsung T5s to cover this. I'm new to the video industry and needed a dedicated drive for it. Looks like the T5s are no longer in production and these new T7s claim to be better. I decided to try one only to be extremely disappointed in its performance. All T5 have transfer rates of at least 400 MB/s. The T7 only ran at 30 to 40 MB/s and got very hot. I really hope Samsung fixes this problem. I think I'll try to deal with the hard drives I have until I find a better solution.
