The steering wheel is quite cramped and you need to unfasten the fasteners for it.

I have a Yamaha SR Viper X-TX. The handlebars are pretty tight and you have to loosen the fasteners holding the throttle and brake assembly in place to install these brackets on the handlebars. The X-TX and M-TX SR Viper have handrails integrated into the handlebars. Just one thing; I installed both mounts flush to the handlebars and the brake and throttle modules on each side. Yamaha placed the handwarmer wiring on the front of the handlebars. If it were on the back you could put steel loops around the handlebars and then attach them to the aluminum stays. But that's not the case. So I had to cut a groove on the side of the throttle body to allow the hand warmer wiring to go through the bracket. If I had placed the mount on the other side of the gas module, the handguard would have looked odd. Anyway, the mounts and handguards were fine, I just wanted people to know that they might need to modify the hardware to get them working well.
