Review on Omnigrip 6 Inch By 24 Inch Non Slip Quilters Ruler by Kelly Caballes

I have never quilted before but chose the Omnigrip 6X9 for quick scale construction drawings. It's great for that, but it's much more than just a "ruler", it's a great little TOOL. I found it useful for precise markup and cutting templates for prototyping work (fixed parallax bug). The fact that it is transparent with a contrasting black and yellow grid makes it easy to sketch out any pattern or design and check for flaws regardless of the color of the surface (the neon yellow is clearly visible against the black lines). The photo of this article is not true. A lot happens in the details of the grid. If something isn't perfectly square or parallel on a complex layout, it's immediately visible on the Omnigrip grid. The relative position and distance between multiple objects can be estimated at a glance. Ideal for printing layouts, logos, etc. If you are a creative person, you will find many uses for this quilting ruler.
