I got rid of my high distributor and went back to the good old reliable glasses distributor on my Corvette. It looks like a decent Reman Delco Remy device. The body part number goes back to 71 Camaro and Nova, but it will fit any small or large 1957-1987 Chevy if you use a point distributor. I'm rating it a 4 as the edges are heavily displaced. I'm not sure how QA overlooked this issue. I invested in the best branded glasses and kept the other as a spare. Beware of all those cheap $50 offshore hay spreaders, they are junk! msd and accel also sell offshore distributors in their economy line. If you like your hei, repair it or buy a repair block for your make and model. If you have a glasses dealer, keep it or restore it. You can repair your original with Cardone if you give it to Napu, Autozone, Oreillys, Carquest, etc. My Cardone works just as well as my old Hei.
