Pelonis logo on packaging. It is described as a '2-in-1 ceramic tower and baseboard heater'. Model NTH15-17BRA. Production date is November 2019. It is ETL listed Intertek 3068797 and claims to be UL STD compliant. 1278, which stands for Mobile and Wall or Ceiling Electric Room Heaters. I went to the Intertek site and it is listed correctly. It is also listed for CAN/CSA-C22.2 #46 and #113 and is UL507 compliant. The package includes a heater, instructions and a Pelonis extended warranty card. The heater itself has a cable tie and dust cover. After removing it from the bag, the remote control is packed and glued. There is a plastic battery disconnect that must be pulled to allow the battery to touch the contacts; pretty typical. The control panel is covered with a transparent protective film to prevent scratches. The buttons on the remote control and the tower control panel worked perfectly. All the features worked as expected and I think the product listing describes them accurately so I won't go into too much detail. The only thing I wanted to mention is that the thermostat has a 5 degree setting. There's a 15 second countdown when you turn off the heater, which I think allows the fans to cool the elements down a bit. As for heat, it generates some heat on the high power setting. It is well suited as a heater for a small living room. At a medium temperature, sufficient heat is also released. The lowest "ECO" setting is suitable for a small bedroom. Oscillation works, but not over a wide range. It's hard to measure, but don't expect 150 degrees or even 120 degrees. Probably closer to 75 degrees. The suction plate is detachable and has thick foam to collect large dirt and dust. This is not an air filter, it is only used to keep the heating elements clean. In terms of noise, this heater is relatively quiet. Don't expect it to be a whisper, but with the background noise of the TV and sitting on the couch, it was imperceptible. Overall, the appearance of this heater is elegant. It looks great as a tower heater but also looks great as a baseboard heater. Since it acts as a tower and baseboard heater, it cannot have a ROPS. Keep that in mind and I recommend putting it on the baseboard if you have a large dog and leaving it on when you're not home. I will post an additional review of this first impression once I have spent more time with this heater.
