Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy it again.

The lens was included with the 60D purchase (KIT). I made a conscious decision to go with this particular lens because. Since I upgraded to a DSLR from a 12x ultrazoom, I was looking for a replacement lens with comparable capabilities. I didn't want to burden myself by bringing along a large number of lenses. To a certain extent, content with the lens. With time, I became accustomed to its shortcomings, and as a consequence, I am satisfied with the quality of the photographs it produces. Experimenting with a variety of different settings can be really interesting at times (I rarely shoot without preparation). This type is a little on the dim side for use when filming indoors. The addition of an external flash, on the other hand, brings about a marked improvement across the board. Although. If you have approximately ten thousand dollars in your savings account, then perhaps this lens is a decent alternative for folks who are transitioning to a DSLR. In addition, I purchase a second lens so that I may take photographs indoors. There are no issues with the autofocus! Each and every frame is clear. In passing, I should mention that the trunk of my specimen does not move independently. Many have written in this space that it is a great alternative to the typical whale lens. Thus, this lens can also be considered a whale lens. In addition to that, the Canon EF-S 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 IS is a member of the Whales family.

Pros
  • The appearance of being solid. Excellent picture quality even at the distant end. Production of lenses of the highest quality (Taiwan).
Cons
  • The barrel and the pillow, in addition to being powerful at short focal lengths. But, it is dark. The 60D is successful in some way. Autofocus that is both sluggish and noisy. Manual focus control requires some practice because the ring used to adjust focus is located a considerable distance from the camera.
