I bought this lens separately, it didn’t come with me in the kit, I made my choice consciously, and over time I got a little disappointed in the purchase, but what it is is what it is. The lens has been serving me for the fourth year already, I mainly use it only for zoom, since it is mediocre at the wide-angle position, the focal lengths that are optimal in terms of sharpness are 24-85mm, I do not recommend using extreme positions, as the sharpness drops. That is, this lens seems to be universal, but at the expense of quality, of course, you can shoot masterpieces with it, no one argues, I took a lot of interesting pictures with it in my time. It is a pleasure to work with, it has a quiet focus motor, unlike my old lens, and the autofocus itself is more tenacious, although it sometimes misses. In general, the lens is worthy of attention, especially for beginners, since it has a relatively affordable price and it covers all the necessary focal lengths, and it will be indispensable when traveling, which I personally saw for myself a couple of years ago - I took this only one lens with me , and it was enough for me, I don’t need to carry all the lenses with me, this one replaces all.
