The quality of the forks could be improved; not recommended for children under 15

Forks are the worst of the three. The fork itself is the best shape I've seen in wooden cutlery, but they have an issue with the quality of the grind and smoothing. ALL my forks except 1 or 2 had to be reamed and smoothed with another fork/cutlery, but due to the shape/curvature I can't "sand" them completely. Also, I don't have actual sandpaper sheets or sticks to use. Maybe a nail file would work? To be honest I don't mind taking the time to polish them if there's an easy way, but that's a big minus if you're in a hurry or using them for teens/adults as there is long takes time for most. . Toddlers under 15 shouldn't even be allowed to hold one of these as I expect they will pop out and start eating/using them and likely end up with broken pieces in their hands or mouth. Spoons are no worse than me. I have ever seen her. You have a few here and there that aren't smooth. Not ideal for soups or cereals but does the job and I'm very happy with it. The knives are again the best shape of wood I've seen and are overall smooth. If you're desperate and have a large plate and time, you can slice a well-done steak on a swing. However, it won't cut through an undercooked steak! It won't cut through hard fruits like apples or vegetables like carrots (unless they're cooked soft). I really liked the shape of the knives and this is the final factor that made me buy this set to try. Conclusion: I would I didn't say the set was a waste of money but the forks are almost rubbish and again they take a long time to polish themselves. If you need spoons and knives they really are the best I've seen. I used bamboo chopsticks instead of forks I saved the forks and will try to buy some sandpaper or a nail file to dedicate and see if that solves the problems. Hopefully the seller/manufacturer will improve the forks, even if it's not obvious. Remember this is a wooden utensil if you press wrong I've eaten hardened ice cream with spoons with no problem but you have to hold it close to the base and scrape like the little popsicle sticks you get sometimes but it works!
