Very disappointed. the best motherboards

I have been using EVGA products for several years now and this is the first semi disaster I have experienced. I'll leave this as "semi-" and one star for now as they're still trying to get this motherboard to work. I received this on 8/20/20 and it is now 9/29/20. I bought this with a new Intel i9 10900X processor. Reviews, forums, and websites claim that this board is compatible. First boot experience: error code "dF" indicating the BIOS is out of date. So if you have a newer processor it is best to expect that you will need a BIOS update immediately like others on the forums etc. It will take 7-14 days to ship to you (I got it over the weekend called support). so a few extra days for processing, it won't be overnight). I got my first BIOS (v 1.23) 3 weeks ago. I replaced the BIOS but the "dF" error persisted. "Must be a bad BIOS". Okay - this can't happen very often, so I decided to try a different BIOS instead of replacing the motherboard. I received the second BIOS last week. There is still a "dF" error. Now they offer to send me a third bios. no I have now disassembled the motherboard and am waiting for an RMA number to ship it back to EVGA to flash it, test it with my processor and then ship it back to me. So 7-14 days to send it to them who knows how long they will test and then 7-14 days to send it back. At this rate I should be able to do it in November. I asked them to just send me a new motherboard, charge for it and not refund my money until I gave them my current one. no I can not. I will keep you informed if this changes and I hope it does. For anyone else who got lucky with their first BIOS update, I wish I were you.
