This works amazingly well against planarians, I set the trap before bed and it fills up with hundreds of planarians the next morning. If you have an infestation of planarians like in my aquarium, you will have to do this over and over again until you see a captive planarian. This can take weeks. The trick is to place the bait and leave some air as there is no water circulation in the trap and the bait will get dirty and suffocate the planaria, if you don't leave air in the trap the planaria will exit the trap. I use Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets which are very good at attracting planarians.
