Review on ThermoPro Wireless Digital Cooking Thermometer by Michelle Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good enough thermometer for most uses

Not bad. reads the temperature from the main unit much faster than weber igrill2. The sensors read point by point, except for one of them. Still in a decent range IMO. This is my first RF system and I'm not sure if this is the result of RF and if all devices that use RF are the same, but the 10 second delay between the main device and the remote screen annoys me. it probably shouldn't, but it does. It's like the remote screen only updates its readings every 10 seconds. At the time of the temperature recording, the readings of the main unit have already changed. When used with my offset smoker or komado it doesn't matter as the temperature doesn't change much every 10 seconds. Good buy but I'm afraid for the price Thermoworks Smoke is the only option that best suits your budget and you 'need' more than 2 probes. It will definitely serve the purpose you are buying it for. Temperature programming etc is fairly easy and assembly is solid. The probes seem to be of good quality and I like their length as I regularly cook large roasts and briskets. the box has arrived. It is used weekly. I'll report back after using it for a while.
