I used them to jam my cessna plane for over a year. They get the job done and cost about 1/10th the cost of pads labeled for aviation. UPDATE: March 22, 2012 - This set is still working nearly 5 years after purchase. But I notice that the price is almost $9 instead of $3. I'm not sure why the inflation is 25% per year. Instead, I bought a second set from Northern Tool.
