Review on GIAC - Global Information Assurance Certification by Danny Lavimodiere

The best thing about GIAC is that it has a lot of topics to choose from. It's very helpful and has a lot of resources and materials for the exam. There are not a lot of choices for questions and answers. It's not very in-depth. GIAC is more of a general information security certification. I took the GIAC Foundations exam and I passed, but I did not pass the GIAC Security Practitioner exam. I would recommend getting GIAC because it is a good, general information security certification and it will help you understand information security and security controls. I will be working in the information security field and I will need this certification to get a job in the field. I will gain knowledge on security controls and best practices that will help me in the field.
