SnaPatch Review

It has been easy for us as administrators because it's integrated with our existing tools, like Windows Server Update Services or WSUS. The GUI makes configuring updates extremely simple. I dislike their pricing model of charging per host rather than per user/per machine so we can't easily justify purchasing this software if there are cheaper products out there in other markets such as Germany where licensing costs much less! The product has been very stable, with no issues encountered since implementation in our environment. It's easy for administrators to manage across multiple sites. There are some limitations around what can be configured within the tool itself - this could lead to confusion when troubleshooting problems, but I'm sure these will be resolved over time as the software matures. It's very easy for our IT department since we can just manage it from one place, they don't have too many things going in their head when managing this product because everything has been done before them by someone else so there are no surprises! I do not like how you cannot see what patches your servers need unless its actually installed or uninstalled but i guess thats something out of my control as well? The ease of use, it's flexibility for any size business with multiple sites/locations etc., can be used in conjunction or not as required by your organisation - there are no rules about this! It works well but we have found some limitations around storage space which has limited its usage somewhat.
