You have to swap the cables, but it works great.

This is exactly what we need for our motorhome. Our ladders have been fixed but the wires have been swapped and you must swap them as the ladders do not count when the door was closed and are removed when the door is open. 🤪. The delivery was quicker than expected. I'm very glad I wasn't the only person having issues with this part and reading other reviews was very helpful in knowing that you need to change the wires because it's the opposite of what it should be .
