Tailoring is excellent; Seams in stressed areas such as crotch and inner thighs; Pocket holes and belt loops are fastened with tacks (thick and short stitch line) to protect the seam from tearing. The pattern doesn't work - the shorts are too tight on the legs, my 4 year old had problems with the tension. down to go potty. The waistband is very short. So if you are good with sewing machines and didn't read all the reviews before ordering; You can unravel the crotch and side seams to get 3/4" around the leg. If you're not practical; buy one size up.
