Really helps to purify the water in the aquarium. I had high nitrate levels causing cloudy eyes in 3 of my fish. After changing the water and adding Chemi-Pure Blue to my tank, my cloudy eyes cleared up. The only thing I didn't like was that when replacing one of the power filter cartridges, the Chemi-Pure bag burst, causing the charcoal to fall onto the sandy bottom and the white balls to float in the tank. There was a bit of a mess. Luckily the filters caught the white balls, but I still have charcoal on the sandy bottom. Just be careful when putting it in a filtration system. I'm not sure if the bag came loose in the water or if I actually punctured it.
