Great idea but poor design
Got this a few months ago and it has worked great all spring when my air con didn't need to be turned on as often. But now that it's summer and my air conditioner is working harder, that air filter isn't getting enough air through it. My compressor freezes frequently and my unit is only 2 years old and regularly serviced. As soon as I went back to the regular pleated filter, my problems stopped. I love the idea behind this product, but the airflow restrictions are a big issue.
