Locking up your RV or any trailer is essential and these devices can easily get the job done. Once installed, very little setup is required to uninstall and then reinstall them - or - if space is needed, they can be collapsed entirely. If it is not fully rolled up, it only takes 30 seconds per side to install. After installation, the wheels don't spin - period. The plastic-coated knob is also a nice touch to keep the device in place during the regulator's tight timing. I was unfortunate enough to experience a poly-v belt failure on my tow hitch, resulting in towing. Even though I had to stop and park on an incline, the jack with these wedges wouldn't move even when unhooked and jacked up. The situation would be much more difficult if conventional wheel chocks were used. It takes a few turns to get the shoes into the engagement area with the included wrench. You will need a wrench as the resistance is too great to use with just your fingers. If you lose your wrench, the dial is 19mm, which is a fairly standard size, or you can just use a crescent-shaped wrench. Also make sure the wheels are close enough to be within the adjustment range of these wedges. Their spec says up to 10 inches.
