It's nice to have more pixels than regular HD (1080) on a 24-inch monitor without going up to 4K, which just doubles everything and costs twice as much. The picture quality, colors and brightness are okay for the price. My only two complaints are that there's a bit more light leakage than with a regular monitor (i.e. dark images aren't as black as they should be, but that's okay) and the actual edge of the display is still a quarter of an inch off Edge removed, although it looks almost edge-to-edge.
