I've been in the HVAC industry for 34 years, I've changed thousands of filters at work and at home so don't make the mistake of buying a filter that claims a Merv rating of 11 Install them and find that they don't work. Trust the Filtrete filter made by 3M. I bought cheaper filters, tested them after 3 months and found they looked like there was very little dirt on them and then put in the 3M filter with no change, they were made in the same environment and 3 months I checked and was amazed how very dirty he does his work, spend a little more and you will be satisfied. Throw back, they don't last a year like they say for a 4 inch filter, plan on changing them every 3-4 months as they do what they're supposed to do, clean the air, dust off your furniture keep away and out of your lungs!
