I absolutely adore this sugar bowl. I had been searching for a very long time for a sugar bowl with a flip–top lid to replace my old glass Gemco flip-top lid sugar bowl. All I could find were bowls with separate lids, lids that swing, or ones that pour. I was delighted when I found this one on ebay. I waited a long time to purchase it but I am so glad I did. It is smaller than my old one but we don’t use it daily so it does not empty out too quickly. I love the flat back, it is easy to pick up and hold. I also like the fact that the lid opens up completely vertically and stays up. I replaced the plastic sugar spoon provided with one of my regular teaspoons, which I prefer. It is very attractive and I have received several compliments on it already.
