Review on 🧶 Hand-Operated Yarn Ball Winder with Swift for Efficient Yarn Winding by Angela Rodriguez

No instructions came with the winder. I was able to use common sense and add a picture of the seller to figure it out. Although there were no special assemblies. My first problem appeared as soon as I started using it. Each time I turned the crank, the yarn simply doubled over and wrapped around the top of the spool instead of making a full 360° turn. After spending some time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, I was able to deduce from YouTube and other sources that this is a common problem with fake Stanwoods. I assume, that it is a misaligned spinning thing and the other guide rod is not bent at the right angle. I have yet to wrap a full skein from start to finish without stopping a few times to try and get him to cooperate. It's great when he's running, but it's only in intermittent queues when he wants to.
