Review on 🎠 Wood Trick Mechanical Carousel Merry Go Round by Robert Tyus

This is the second wood kit I have made and the first was from a different brand. In comparison, I would say that Wood Trick uses lower quality wood and/or less efficient laser engraving. MANY pieces tore at the edges when removed from the frame they were etched into. And one of the thin pieces broke in half when I attached the other piece to it. On the plus side, Wood Trick comes with half a sheet full of spare parts, one of which (fortunately) was for the broken part, so the finished kit is all intact. And this is a very well completed project. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, more so than the other brand I've referred to before. I'll try another WT kit at some point and see if the wood/etching issues persist. In the meantime, I would recommend that you have a sharp, ultra-thin blade and cut every detail out of its frame if you really want to avoid splitting. Although my rating shows four stars, I would actually give a 3.5 for the quality of the wood.
