I have used them several times when riveting sheet brass and copper to make large pieces of jewellery. They're soft enough to easily hammer a non-cambered end, but not too soft to fit through tight mounting holes. (Contenti #52 drill bit is the perfect size!) They're much easier to use than plain wire rivets, and the domed head gives the rivets a smoother front end.
