I decided to buy these after one of my friends broke plastic wine glasses from a dollar store. (Well, she said it was from the dollar store. But I think maybe she just said to make me feel better. It was a cheap plastic cup anyway.) These glasses are great. I really appreciate the weighted floor (something I didn't realize was important as I don't drink much wine). I think I can buy a set to give to my girlfriend for her next birthday. They're affordable enough for young drinkers, but not so uncommon that anyone hesitates to confide in their boyfriend at a party. There is a seam on the glasses which I wish I had, but I'm not sure if it's possible to make glass without a seam.
