Review on ๐ŸŒก Indera Men's Expedition Weight Cotton Thermal Underwear Top in Raschel Knit by Dipp Samrock

Great fabric, slightly custom fit, irritating shoulder seams

I'm 5ft 10", skinny and knowing this wouldn't get special treatment in the wash I ordered a large to accommodate shrinkage to consider if i must be a medium. Washed in warm water and dried on high heat before wearing. Had the expected shrinkage, but nothing crazy, and ended up with a medium sized shirt, just what I was hoping for. The weight/thickness of the shirt is very good, just what I was hoping for. Decently thick and fairly dense weave. I think the intentional compression helps the fabric shrink and tighten, which is nice. I'd say it's a bit pretentious to call it expeditionweight, and if I were to take the next step at heavyweight, I doubt I would call it heavy at all. Anything thinner is just regular weight. 2030 years ago this would have been just regular good quality thermals but now complete garbage is normal so the decent quality you should expect is actually a military grade expedition weight. However, it is a decent thickness and feels very comfortable. The length is perfect in my opinion, just long enough to be tucked in but not ridiculously long like some thermal pants where it extends past your pelvis making it look like you're wearing a dress when not tucked in . The arm length is small but not too bad. I have really long arms (5ft 10.5" span is 0.5" longer than my height) and it's a base layer so short arm hair isn't a problem. The cuffs are a bit long but I can see it would be nice under a second layer shirt if the cuffs give you a bit of wiggle room with different sleeve lengths, which is handy. Body as thermals should be and I'm very thin, the sleeves are unusually thick compared to him. And the cutouts for the hands even more so. So wearing it with a regular cut, not even a fitted shirt of the same size, while it fits the body well, it's all gathered in the upper arms and under the armpits. Wear it under a t-shirt and you'll look like a clown. And lest you think that the skinny guy who complains about arms that are too wide is tall and wrinkled because it was dried in a horizontal position at high heat. Shoulders 9 inches high just behind the armhole. It has a circumference of 18 inches. So even if you had a fairly inflated 16-inch bicep, there would still be some burlap between your bicep and shoulder, which seems a little silly for thermals of this size. without sleeves it would be unusually tight on the body and very tight on the chest. So we can assume that the target customer has a big biceps of 1618 inches but a small chest of 3840 inches. Basically like Popeye after spinach or something, but I've never seen anyone that size who isn't a cartoon character. Obsessed with the oddly thick arms, I almost forgot the shoulder seams, which are rough and have some sort of plastic sewn into them. I have 5 dollars. - Shirts with nicely taped shoulder seams Apparently it is important for someone that the area between the shoulder and the neck does not stretch, so there is some kind of elastic plastic sewn into the seams stretchable, keeps 100% cotton and is more comfortable. And if you use a raised shoulder seam that would otherwise be tolerable or unnoticeable, the placement of the plastic makes them bigger and more uncomfortable, especially in underwear a sea of absolute garbage I'll stick with this heavily armed but otherwise mostly good thermal underwear and hope that another wash it shrinks where needed while still tearing and stretching again to keep it in good shape. will break them down to a more bearable fit. Maybe I'll try medium and I'll have even shorter arms and too short a torso length, I can try to stretch but I'll start with less thick arms. I'm really hoping they get a fit or tighter quality control tolerances or whatever because the fabric is fantastic, I love the good weight of the 100% cotton and the Raschel knit is warmer and more comfortable than the waffle knit. :Indera Men's Expedition Weight Cotton Raschel Knit Thermal Underwear Top Natural Color Plus SizeSold by: Revain.com Services LLC
