These silicone pot handles work great and are perfect for my enameled cast iron cookware. I've bought other similar items in the past and while I could use them to lift a hot pot, they were too big to grab hold of by the handles, affecting the overall comfort of the whole. Because these pot handle covers actually stay on the handles, I can keep them on while cooking (on an electric stove - haven't put them in the oven yet) and don't have to look for a heating pad or oven.
