I usually try to avoid aluminum antiperspirants, but I really hate the yellow stains that come with natural coconut oil-based deodorants. While I try to wear aluminum-free deodorant, I do use an antiperspirant on the days I NEED to know I'm not sweating, smelling, or soiling my shirts. I am very fond of musky scents and this one smells great. I have scents for challenges and competitions. If you want a more musky, cologne-like scent, take the challenge. The competitor smells much cleaner, like a fresh shower scent. Both are great. I actually like the deodorant (not an antiperspirant version) better because it stays clear. With aluminum antiperspirant, I smell like a mix of BO and musk at the end of the 12 hour shift, although I'm not sweating. As another reviewer mentioned, I had a bit of trouble scrubbing in the shower. No issues with the physical product itself. This is a large stick and should last a while. The consistency is good, not too soft and not difficult to spread. The company offers a trial kit on its website at a cheaper price if you want to try the product first.
