Review on BindMaster Grounded Single Adapter Indicator by Will Rahman

I bought these as I had an old air conditioner that had the original switch shaft front broken and I needed a way to turn it on and off. I didn't need to switch from one setting to another and just wanted to be able to turn them on or off. That's 1000 BTUs. 10 AMP 110 AC window unit and even though it's old it still cools like a champ. I bought them because they fit the amp and power specs I need. When I received and checked them I was pleased to find that they were priced exactly as I wanted them and therefore seemed to fill the bill. The switch felt good and the shifting action was like a heavier switch. So I connected the switch to the wall and connected the AC unit to it. I turned on the switch first, then flipped the switch on the air conditioner to the position I always left on. It turned on without any problems and with the new switch the air conditioning worked perfectly. I left it on for a while and then turned off the AC with the new switch, waited about 30 minutes and used the switch again to turn the AC back on. Both tests worked great, no problems. The only thing that really bothered me was the AC inrush current load, which didn't cause any problems. The switch worked like a dream and solved the problem for me. If you need a way to toggle something on and off and it fits the specs of this switch, it should work well enough. Not a bad switch.
