I received this after my current very expensive whisk started to break leaving small bits of bamboo in my matcha. I figured I'd try making my morning cuppa in a mug so I bought this guy to replace it. It turns out that while this works well in a mug, it also works better in a regular bowl of matcha. Because of its size and shape, this whisk is much easier to scrape off the ground than a regular matcha whisk. Especially if I knock over the bowl. And since the teeth are shorter, they should be much stronger. I find I might be a little rough on things, so it's nice to have something that feels a little more solid. It's too narrow to fit on my whisk holder, but instead I just put it on a bowl to dry when I'm done and this is how it works.
