Such a cute little matcha green tea mug! The design of the mug is adorable and very feminine! I like drinking Matcha from it.

Cute design but too small for a tea bowl. This is the size of a cup of spice. Should not be sold as a genuine Japanese tea bowl.

Small whisk perfect for preparing matcha in small chawan bowls. It worked great. I liked the small chawan I had already bought and didn't want to buy a bigger one just because regular whisks would be too big and cumbersome to make tea in these smaller bowls. Bamboo coasters work well too.

I've been using this bowl almost every day for about 8 months now. I love it. I usually just wash my hands with water after each use. Foaming actually depends on the right ratio of water to matcha powder. I use 2 grams (about 1 level teaspoon) for about 1/2 cup or a little more. I received this after my current very expensive whisk started to break leaving small bits of bamboo in my matcha. I figured I'd try making my morning cuppa in a mug so I bought this guy to replace it. It turns out that while this works well in a mug, it also works better in a regular bowl of matcha.
