I was initially reluctant to take this saddle. I wasn't sure if it would feel and ride as good as the leather version I have on my road and single speed bikes. I wanted something more waterproof for my mountain bike, so I went for this one. The only noticeable difference was in the "feel" of the material. Leather saddles are a bit slippery at first and you tend to slip a bit. Cambium has a slightly rough texture that will keep you where you need to be. The flex you get from Leder Brooks has been copied onto the T. The feeling you get from Brooks is undeniably supernatural when you drive. I tried to focus on them while driving, but several times I quickly forgot that I was trying to spot the differences. Since it's made of rubber, I'm not afraid that it's ideal for wet and muddy weather. If you love your leather Brooks as much as I do and have doubts about your choice of Cambium, let me allay your fears. It's a creek saddle through and through, behaving like a creek saddle. I am delighted and if I buy another bike, if I have another bike I will not hesitate to buy this saddle again.
