Just as cool as you'd expect from Brooks.

I trusted my butt to the standard cambium seat in my daily commuter car for about a year and was perfectly content with it when I started to wonder how long my lower body was suffering. temporary effects of my many hours in the saddle. That's why I picked it for my daily ride, putting aside the stock gravel bike I have my eye on. It's just as good, if not a little better than the original, although it took me a few rides to enjoy it. I must say that I felt no discomfort from the hard (original)

Interesting product

I have five bikes and all with leather saddles ranging in age from two to 45 years. In recent years (I'm in my 70's and a very experienced cyclist) I've found it increasingly difficult to sit in the saddle for more than an hour, even on my fully personalized early 70's Brooks Professional bike that I've had for centuries ridden. Thought I'd give the Cambium a try as it might have enough "boom" to allow me to ride comfortably for longer. This saddle did NOT solve my specific biomechanical…

Over 3000 Miles - Seats & Saddles

Now that I've ridden this saddle over 3,000 miles I can give it a good review. In general, this is a keeper. This is definitely the most comfortable saddle I've ridden; and I've tried many of them. Anyone who sees it for the first time always notices how uncomfortable it looks - and they're not mistaken. There is no overlay and it looks very uncomfortable. However, soft padding is the last thing I need when I'm in the saddle for more than 4 hours at a time. I ride 50/50 between hoods and drops…

.really good leather free alternative to B17.

Look, you came here looking for a weatherproof or vegan version of B17. Each of these two reasons is an absolute must, you probably can't beat the C17 for its price. However, you must understand that you are sacrificing a certain level of comfort. If comfort is paramount and you don't have skin problems and can take extra care of them, choose the B17. The C17 is a really great saddle. He's persistent, for better or for worse. Took about 80 miles to break it in and see a noticeable improvement…

Looks like a leather version

I was initially reluctant to take this saddle. I wasn't sure if it would feel and ride as good as the leather version I have on my road and single speed bikes. I wanted something more waterproof for my mountain bike, so I went for this one. The only noticeable difference was in the "feel" of the material. Leather saddles are a bit slippery at first and you tend to slip a bit. Cambium has a slightly rough texture that will keep you where you need to be. The flex you get from Leder Brooks has…

Great comfort and seems very durable

Like many cyclists who regularly ride for an hour or more, I've bought several different bike seats hoping to find the saddle of my dreams. Over the course of 12 years of riding I've had over 10 different saddles ranging from $40-$200, and while some of them only survived a few rides, I gave them all a fair "chance" to break in and get comfortable. This Brooks Cambium saddle is one of the few saddles that I have liked that felt comfortable straight away and got even more comfortable as I used…

Narrow, tough, looks modern and colorful. Not for me.

I bought this to replace my Brooks B17. The B17 is great and has always been comfortable even on 60 mile rides without suede. However, after riding over 100 miles, I developed numbness that made me worry about crotch pressure, so I looked for a replacement with a cut-out. I wanted to ride the Cambium because I like the design of the B17, but I prefer a non-leather saddle. Weatherproof because cheaper and supposedly more durable than the standard cambium, so why not? And C15 instead of C17…

Great saddle but not as wide as you might think

Very comfortable for my sit bone width. Much better than the C17 I used before. The size of my ischium (or ischial tuberosity) is about 125mm. In theory the 162mm wide C17 should be wide enough and I rode it for many years. The Cambrium Series' surface isn't flat, however, and the severe curvature means most of the width isn't used unless you're sitting on a rivet (in which case you're sitting on a rigid outer frame). Although my C17 Carved was pretty good, I wanted something wider, but Brooks…
