Now that I've ridden this saddle over 3,000 miles I can give it a good review. In general, this is a keeper. This is definitely the most comfortable saddle I've ridden; and I've tried many of them. Anyone who sees it for the first time always notices how uncomfortable it looks - and they're not mistaken. There is no overlay and it looks very uncomfortable. However, soft padding is the last thing I need when I'm in the saddle for more than 4 hours at a time. I ride 50/50 between hoods and drops and am equally comfortable in either position (my seat is at ground level). I'm sold and will never ride another saddle again. I drove through hot summers, downpours, snow, frost and a monotonous indoor gym. Absolutely comfortable and doesn't hurt at all - not even on the eyelids. I got a carved version but I'm not sure if it was 100% necessary. It holds up well to the weather and doesn't harm my cycling gear. 100% recommended. This is the only saddle I would buy.
