Review on ๐Ÿšฒ High Mileage, Waterproof Brooks England Cambium All Weather Bike Seat - Carved/Standard Bicycle Saddle (C15, C17, C19) by Jeff Wieczorek

Great comfort and seems very durable

Like many cyclists who regularly ride for an hour or more, I've bought several different bike seats hoping to find the saddle of my dreams. Over the course of 12 years of riding I've had over 10 different saddles ranging from $40-$200, and while some of them only survived a few rides, I gave them all a fair "chance" to break in and get comfortable. This Brooks Cambium saddle is one of the few saddles that I have liked that felt comfortable straight away and got even more comfortable as I used it. I didn't have any of the hot spot or tenderness complaints that I've experienced with other saddles. The saddle has no padding which I think makes it even more comfortable because I don't have to fidget to find that "worn and comfortable" spot and the padding in my overalls can do what it was designed to do. make. I have another Brooks saddle but it is leather and still very comfortable but needs some disassembly. I like the waterproofing of this saddle better because I don't have to worry about keeping the leather conditioned and I don't have to worry about getting caught in a summer afternoon rain. I am in the process of buying another one of these for my second, older "rain bike" and I have no problem recommending this seat for those trying to find comfort on their bike and doing long rides on a real road bike. This saddle comes in three widths to suit most people's riding styles and it would be helpful if someone went to the Brooks website and read up on the purpose and benefits of the different widths before purchasing a saddle for buy yourself.
