Look, you came here looking for a weatherproof or vegan version of B17. Each of these two reasons is an absolute must, you probably can't beat the C17 for its price. However, you must understand that you are sacrificing a certain level of comfort. If comfort is paramount and you don't have skin problems and can take extra care of them, choose the B17. The C17 is a really great saddle. He's persistent, for better or for worse. Took about 80 miles to break it in and see a noticeable improvement in comfort. It doesn't compare to the feel of a broken leather saddle, but it's still perfectly acceptable. It's relatively light and well built. If you're used to saddles half the price, you'll definitely notice a difference when you use them. Again a really good non-leather B17 alternative, but not exactly a B17. The trade-off is durability and comfort. You decide what is more important. At least without serious losses.
