I took it as a replacement for the whale 16-50mm sel1650 for the Sony A6000. Focal 30mm turned out to be the most versatile! It’s pointless to write about shooting in simple conditions with good light, everything is wonderful! But in complex, with a whale in a dark room, it is almost useless to shoot dynamic moments without a flash, and even more so video! We have to set ISO 3200-6400, and the noise is already clearly visible. With Sigma in the same conditions and settings (shutter speed 1 \ 60-1 \ 125, due to the open aperture of 1.4-2.0, there is a gain in sensitivity of 2-4 stops). The flash of course solves these problems, if it is available and applicable in specific conditions. In the video, again in a dark room or in the evening in nature, due to the open aperture, you can shoot without problems! DOF even at 1.4 is sufficient! One problem is the noise of the autofocus motor, a kind of "locust" chirping, but you can only hear it in a quiet room. Motor activity and noise can be slightly reduced if the "autofocus speed" is lowered in the camera settings.
