If you compare this Sigma with something else from other systems, and even full-frame ones, then the lens will look pathetic in terms of image quality. But in the case when there is nothing to choose from, it is very good. Everything is spoiled by aberrations that do not disappear even at f10, but in general they exist at any settings, and you have to live with them. The distortion is also huge, barrel-shaped. This is me to the fact that uploading a photo from a fotik as there is an idea is so-so, you will have to finish everything in the editors. In principle, all this is removed, but not completely, purple remains, this is especially noticeable on small branches of trees, the picture begins to "blush" when there are a lot of branches or small details. But if you switch to portraits, and not to landscapes and long shots, then all these problems recede. The blur is very deep, the flu is minimal. The bokeh pattern is clean, maybe even too clean, here you can remember the term "bokeh to dust", something like this is obtained. Twists, lemons, all this is not here, the bokeh is strict, like the head teacher at school. Good or bad, everyone decides for himself. The lens is light, just like a toy, but much larger than a whale 16-50, for example. Assembled very well. Half-length portraits no longer give such cool bokeh as we would like, the crop system and short focal length are affecting. In general, the price tag for the lens is ridiculous, take it. Girl with an ax, f1.4. Zelenyushka f1.7. The rest of the photos are f4-11. Here they write about the focusing speed, I did not notice such inconveniences, it focuses quickly and accurately even at a fully open aperture. And I still have my grandmother's fotik - a5100))). I wish you a pleasant use, given the nuances, you definitely will not be disappointed, and there is essentially no choice. ps. All photos are corrected for aberrations and distortion as much as possible. In lightroom (there is a lens profile).
