Review on 🌳 AGPTEK Swing Seat: Durable Yard Swing for Kids & Adults - Green, 77.2 x 15 x 0.7cm (300KG/660LB Weight Limit) by Jeffrey Mosqueda

I bought 3 of these (old, heavier seats - SAME model number) in June 2016 for my (then) 6 year old. I installed her on a large (12 foot high) swing that I made for her. I bought them because IN THEN (2016) they were almost as solid as their elementary school playground. They last until about June 2020! As reported by others at the time (2016), the only complaint was rust. (see attached rust picture). When these LATEST model seats arrived (I re-ordered THE SAME seats, I thought they were the SAME, but this one is NOT!) I was hoping I could get a few more years out of them if I used them. Anti-corrosion paint for metal for outdoor use on exposed metal reinforcement strips (see drawing attached). Upon installation, I noticed that the triangular support links are NOT as thick as the original 2016 seats. Curious, I measured and compared the OLD and NEW model seats. Seat Thickness: Approx. 0.240" (old and new are the same) Triangular Support Link Thickness: (old) = 0.371" (new) = 0.318" OLD = HEAVER Link! = 0.030" 1/2 THICKNESS and these seats are designed for the SAME LOAD of 660 lbs? This is a burden! It can be dangerous! recall + photos September 5, 2020) these seats will fail MUCH sooner than the old, unpainted seats!
