In light of the fact that it took my wife at least twenty-five minutes each morning to cook toasts for breakfast (there was a regular one from Bosch for two toasts), my parents gave it to her for the New Year. The first impression is "wow, simultaneous cooking of 4 at once!" They were slightly dissatisfied almost immediately because the toast still takes a bit longer to cook than it would in an older toaster, but it is served in four separate pieces at once. Even though the enclosure gets fairly hot, you won't get burned if you touch it accidentally because the temperature only seems to be about 70 degrees. In addition to this, one thing that I would like to change is to have the lever that raises the toasts have a slightly longer stroke. Perhaps this is due to the fact that when we toast bread, we use whole loaves rather than individual pieces, and when we remove the bread from the toaster, we have to use a knife to hook the toast onto the blade. I haven't used it for defrosting or cooking other dishes yet, but given that it is, in fact, a toaster, I don't think it's a very good idea to cook other things in it. I think it would be better to use it only for toasting. In general, they are more pleased than dissatisfied with the gift since it has made the problem of morning cooking much less difficult; it truly takes less time - 15 minutes now; this is something that is fairly significant in the morning; and it takes much less time than it used to.
