We used to buy brushes with wooden handles and natural bristles, but they wouldn't last. The wood just doesn't do well hanging in the shower. And often the bristles were rough on our skin.This bath brush is a nice medium size--plenty large enough to efficiently clean your back and other areas. The bristles are soft but not too soft, They are densely spaced so they have a good, solid feel and hold plenty of soap. We've used this for several months already, and we are very happy with our purchase.
