I failed 4 of these in a year

The little curved tab that catches the latch when you turn the knob always pops off after a few years. Because of this, two of my tenants and I were stuck in the room and couldn't get out. luckily it wasn't one of my little kids. On one occasion I had to climb through a window to get to the other side with a knife to open it, on another I had to cut through a door molding to gain access to a latch. This cheap horrible construction is extremely dangerous. You will fail at the most inopportune moment.
