If you are looking for a simple coffee maker then this is it. It simply brews coffee and keeps it warm. Commercially available paper filters are used, which are widely available. Has a backlit on/off switch so you can tell when it's on. Easy to clean thanks to the simple design, pot and basket are dishwasher safe. One thing I do want to warn you about is that if you're impatient, you can pull out the coffee pot before it's ready for a quick snag on a drip-free cup. But when you do, you're basically taking about half the caffeine out of the whole pot and drinking it yourself in a cup, while the rest of the pot is now half caffeine. You may be nervous and others may be wondering why their coffee isn't working!
