Just what I needed for my 7th grade science classes
Not only was this product beyond reasonably priced (100 test strips for $5) but it arrivede within 30 hours of ordering and it allowed me to provide my students with an effective means of teaching them about the PTC taste gene and how some traits are dominant and others are receptive. Completely aligned with my state's standard course of study on how traits are passed from parents to offspring. Will definitely be buying more vials for my classes in the future to teach this same concept.
Pros
- They worked great. Used in classroom experiments. The students had fun.
Cons
- The taste test may be inconclusive or misleading in cases of mixed taste preferences
