As long as the stool works as intended; Step stool for children. Perfect for reaching the sink to wash your hands or "helping" mom cook. However, I am very disappointed that this item is made of pressed cardboard and not natural wood. If I had known, I would not have ordered it, especially for $33. I've spent a lot of time looking on Amazon for a stool that's both wood and big enough for my kid to reach the sink and counter. I like Doug and Melissa's products because they tend to use more wood than plastic and their toys are usually of decent quality. The wood element was important to me because I wanted the product to have a lower carbon footprint/less processing to manufacture, be easier to repair when needed, and not have to be recycled or sent to landfill when beyond repair. I have an issue with pressed cardboard that is moisture. I worry that the pressed board will absorb water and degrade over time. Unfortunately it was a last minute Christmas present and by the time we realized it wasn't natural wood it was already Christmas Eve so there wasn't time to return it and buy another. Also, it's too heavy for my 3 year old. But it arrived on time so we really appreciated it.
