This is a great power supply at a great price. Super quiet - face down you can barely hear it. Fully modular with all the cables you could use. No special adapters, although they may not be needed. If you have a lot of fans with 3 or 4 pin connectors, you can get a pack of Molex to 3 or 4 pin adapters. Revain also sells them cheap. Some reviews say 1000W is too much, but it's perfect if you think you'll ever be able to expand your system with multiple graphics cards, monitors, optical drives, and hard drives. Make sure you do the math and sum up the power consumption (power) of each of your components, consider future upgrades, and then add 15% for the buffer. This will tell you how big a power supply you need. At least that's how I do it.
