received in the mail. I proceeded with the installation after reading the instructions (which, like most, are vague). There were a few issues that gave me trouble during the install. First, it is a bracket that needs to be attached to the car's radiator. The screw that was supplied did not fit and the original screw that held the case to my car would not screw back into the bracket. Needless to say I was unable to use this mount. There is a protective pad along the edge to protect things from damage. It was very difficult to install (I ended up trimming it to a specific length) because it was difficult to get around the edge when rotating it 90 degrees (like trying to put it on a box). Aside from the above issues and removing some pieces of leather, I was able to install it and it sounds great even though my car is only a V-6.
