A simple fix for that pesky door that won't stay in place

In my experience, doors often sag a bit as a home ages and "breathes". When this happens, it is simply moving the old striker plate is not necessarily an option as the setting may not have enough wood to screw in. The length of this striker plate gives you more flexibility and allows you to drill through clean wood It was perfect for my use i had two doors that wouldn't latch 0.5 minutes later (maybe 30 if I bothered to chisel and flush set), both latch with no issues.
