It's better to be strong to fit this collar

Overall I'm happy with this product except for one thing: the force required to take the prongs out and back in while you're adjusting it . dog neck. It is incredibly difficult to "pinch" these prongs. The video with the girl saying you grit your teeth is a complete joke. It takes more than a pinch! Eventually I used a gripping tool (pliers) to work on one of the prongs and it took 3 tries. I fought with leather gloves for protection from other pens. I think the collar is the right size for my female Lab - I had to remove 4 prongs. The maker of this collar should include some sort of tool to move the ends of the prongs together when removing or adding them - or advise buyers how difficult this is. I was furious last night struggling with this collar until almost midnight and would have sent it back if I hadn't gotten it right. By the way, I'm not weak. I have collected all kinds of products ordered online including large TV cabinets all by myself as I have nothing to help. Anyway, I've taken my lab outside a few times today and I seem to have more control over her - she's twitching terribly - she's 1 year 5 months old and she's nervous. I still can't even think about taking her outside so I'm hoping this collar is part of the solution to making her a civilized dog. I spent $1,600 on private behavior classes for her last summer—all for free. She is very attractive racially, but I'm afraid she'll hurt me if she sees things she doesn't know, like birds or strangers. She needs to understand that I'm the alpha dog in her three-dog pack, not her. Hope this collar helps.
